Course: Academic writing for PhD candidates (3 days)
This course covers the fundamentals of academic writing for both the social and natural (physical) sciences. Information in Norwegian.
PhD candidates. Participants must be registered at one of the NMBU PhD programmes or in another Norwegian university.
A three-day course that covers the fundamentals of academic writing for both the social and natural (physical) sciences. Each day consists of lectures and peer-review exercises.
To develop writing skills for scientific publications and thesis through lectures, discussions and exercises.
Day 1 Cohesion – how to make your writing flow
Day 2 Clarity - how to make your writing clear
Day 3 Concision - how to make your writing tight
Participants should bring a copy of a draft article. The draft can be at any stage in the writing process.
